SP-Evolution blanket bars: The "green" alternative

The new SP-Evolution “SPE” style steel bar from PRO is latest technical innovation from our research and development team.  Designed to be used without traditional blanket bar epoxy, the SPE bar helps converters increase efficiency, decrease waste, and increase customer service.

·         Double production speed

Thorough testing has proven that on average, customers using SPE bars, as opposed to standard steel bars, increased their production speed by 100%.  Doubling production can both eliminate costs and free up time for employees to work on other more profitable projects.

·         Eliminate messy epoxy

Not only does the SPE user cut down on time measuring, mixing and applying the epoxy, but using SPE bars eliminates the messy cleanup involved with excess glue on the bar, blanket and brake press.

Most traditional blanket bar epoxies require a minimum of 24 – 72 hours to fully cure.  When using SPE bars, finished blankets can go directly from the converting table to the press, allowing you to ship same-day without worrying about cure time.
